Tədris ilinə çoxlu şən simalar ilə başlayan gözəl iki gün keçirdik. Hətta bəzi yeni dostlarla tanış olduq!

Bilmənizi istərdim ki, bütün tələbələrin 11-ci sinfi A Səviyyəsi ilə bitirmək imkanı olması üçün Kembric Kurrikulu, Kembric imtahanları və hər bir sinif səviyyəsinin irəliləyiş yolunu müzakirə etmək məqsədi ilə sinif görüşlərimiz olacaq. Bunun üçün xüsusi sinif səviyyələrinə məlumat veriləcək.

Məktəb miqyasında biz icmamızın böyüməsinə diqqət yetiririk. XXI əsr cəmiyyətimizi müəyyən etməyə kömək edən göstəricilərdən biri də məktəbli formasıdır. Mən istərdim:

 

• Formanın vacib olmasının 3 səbəbini sizlərlə paylaşım

• XXI əsr məktəbli formasını nəzərinizə çatdırım

• Bu siyasəti tətbiq edərkən məktəbdə nə gözləyəcəyimizi paylaşım

• Formanın müsbət təsirlərini göstərən bəzi araşdırmaları paylaşım

 

 

 

                                      Məktəbli formasının vacib olmasının 3 səbəbi

 

1. Məktəb ruhunu təşviq etmək:

Uniformalar aidiyyat hissi yaradır. Bu, hər bir tələbənin eyni komandada olduğunu göstərir. Məktəbdən sonra idman kimi, üzv olmaq üçün formalar geyinilir. Məktəbə getmək üçün komandanın formasını geyindikdən sonra qəflətən hiss edirsən ki, orada hamı ilə birlikdəsən. Bunun müqabilində bu, tələbəyə ən yaxşı şəkildə çıxış etməyə kömək edir. 2. Akademik Performans:

Araşdırmalar göstərir ki, uniforma akademik performansı artırır (Baumann, Chris; Krskova).

 

 

3. İntizam:

Tədqiqatlar göstərir ki, məktəbli formaları nizam-intizam problemlərini azaldır və akademik performansı artırır. Məktəbli formasının təsirləri ilə bağlı araşdırma üçün aşağıya baxın (Baumann, Chris; Krskova).

Oğlanlar üçün uzunqol və ya qısaqol XXI əsr məktəbli köynəyi

 

 

Qızlar üçün boz ətək ( Şalvar DEYİL! )

Qızlar üçün uzunqol və ya qısaqol XXI əsr məktəbli köynəyi

 

Ayaqqabı məktəb siyasətində qeyd olunmur, buna görə də tələbələr rahat olanı geyinə bilərlər (Amma xahiş edirəm ayaqyalın olmayın!)

 

Şagirdlər parlaq loqoları və ya parlaq rəngləri olmayan düz boz rəngli kapüşon geyə bilərlər.

 

Şagirdlər dini səbəblər istisna olmaqla, qapalı yerlərdə papaq və ya baş örtüyü taxa bilməzlər.

 

Şagirdlər qapalı yerlərdə gödəkçə geyə bilməzlər. Havalar soyuduqca onlar pencəklərini birinci mərtəbədəki üst geyim qardirobunda saxlayacaqlar.

 

 

Yuxarıda qeyd olunan formada olmayan tələbələr məktəbdən evə göndərilə bilərlər. Şagirdlər düzgün formada deyillərsə, səhər məktəbə buraxılmayacaqlar.

 

Hər hansı bir problemin qarşısını almaq üçün yuxarıdakı şəkildəki formanı görmək və uşağınız evdən çıxmazdan əvvəl məktəbli forması geyindiyinə əmin olmaq vacibdir.

Şalvar geyinən qızlar.

Qızlar məktəbli ətəklərində olmalıdırlar. Ətəklər şortla birlikdə tikilmiş "ətəklərdir". Qızlar ətəyin altından tayt geyinə bilər. Taytlar rəngli loqolar olmadan bir rəngli olmalıdır.

 

Cins şalvar geyinən oğlanlar.

 Oğlanlar boz şalvar geyinməlidirlər.

 

Bu, bəzi tələbələr üçün bir qədər zehni uyğunlaşma ola bilər. Məktəbin niyə vahid geyim siyasətinin tətbiqini vacib hesab etdiyini aydınlaşdırmaq üçün aşağıdakı araşdırmalardan bəzilərini oxumağınız məsləhət görülür.

We had a great two days starting the school year with lots of happy faces. We even met some new friends!

I would like you to know that we will have upcoming class meetings for certain classes to discuss the Cambridge Curriculum, the Cambridge exams, and the path forward for each grade level so that all students have the opportunity to graduate in grade 11 with the A Level exams. Information will be coming out to specific grade levels for this.

School-wide we are focusing on growing our community. One thing that helps to define our community at XXI Century is the school uniform. I would like to:

·                             Share 3 reasons why uniforms are important

·                             Review the XXI Century school uniform

·                             Share what to expect in school as we enforce this policy

·                             Share some research that shows the positive effects of uniforms

3 Reasons why school uniforms are important

1. Promoting school spirit:
Uniforms create a feeling and a sense of belonging. It shows every student is on the same team. Like after-school sports, uniforms are worn for membership. Putting on your team uniform for school suddenly makes you feel like you belong there with everyone else. In return, this helps the student perform at his or her best (Chatterjee, Camille).

 

2. Academic Performance:
Research shows that uniforms increase academic performance (Baumann, Chris; Krskova).

 

3. Discipline:

Research shows that school uniforms reduce discipline problems (Baumann, Chris; Krskova)

XXI Century School Uniform

Boys grey slacks (NOT Jeans)

Boys Long sleeve or short sleeve XXI Century shirt

 

 

 

Girls Grey Skirt (NOT slacks!!!)

Girls long sleeve or short sleeve XXI Century shirt

 

 

 

Footwear is not mentioned in school policy, so students can wear what is comfortable (But please do not be barefooted!)

 

Students may wear a plain grey hoodie with no bright logos or flashy colors

 

Students may NOT wear hats or head covers indoors, except for religious reasons.

 

Students may NOT wear jackets indoors. As the weather cools, they will keep their jackets in the coat room on the first floor

 

 

Students not in the uniform pictured above may be sent home from school. It is possible that students will not be allowed entrance to the school in the morning if they are not in the correct uniform.

 

It is essential to see the uniform pictured above and be sure that this is what is being worn before your child leaves home to avoid any problems.

 

Common mistakes.

 

Girls wearing slacks. Girls must be in school skirts. The skirts are 'skorts' with built in shorts. Girls may also wear tights beneath the skirt. Tights should be plain colored without colorful logos

 

Boys wearing jeans. Boys must wear grey slacks.

 

This may be a bit of a mental adjustment for some students. To make clear why the school finds enforcing uniform policies important, feel free to read some of the research below.

 

By making the school uniform a signature of our school, we will increase and grow the school community, making the school a better place for all students to reach their full potential.

 

Research supporting school uniforms

Summary: This study examines test scores and student behavior in the United States, Canada and 37 other countries to determine whether uniforms affect student discipline. The researchers found that the highest-performing students are the most disciplined. In addition, “for countries where students wear school uniforms, our study found that students listen significantly better, there are lower noise levels, and lower teaching waiting times with classes starting on time.”
